Infant Classes at Dance Dynamix are a fantastic way for children as young as 2.5 years of age, to improve their coordination, balance, social skills and rhythm in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Melody Bear
| | Melody Bear is the focal point of the Melody Movement early learning
dance syllabus. Her
steadfast determination to overcome any difficulty is an
inspiration to young and old.
Melody Movement introduces children to dance and movement using the natural
actions of the body such as running, walking, jumping, hopping, skipping and
galloping. It is structured to aid children’s physical development, coordination, spatial
awareness, sensory development, creativity and self-expression, working
individually, with a partner, or as a group.
Melody Movement also introduces children to other fundamental curriculum
learning skills such as counting, colour and shape recognition, vocabulary
and language skills. The strength of the system is that learning is achieved
through imaginative movement which is enjoyable and fun.

First Steps

Targeted at children currently in reception class at school, First Steps is a great class to give children an appreciation of several dance styles, including: Ballet, Tap & Modern. We have found this to be a fun, relaxed class where pupils are taught the basic techniques in the different dance styles. It is often through this class, that pupils will develop an aptitude for particular styles of dance, that they choose to follow throughout their time at Dance Dynamix.
